There is no quality control in street drugs, even though some may be coloured, shaped, and stamped in an effort to fool potential users into believing they are. Illicit drug manufacturers and dealers do what it takes to increase profit margins and there is no government inspection agency to make sure their products are what they say they are...or, that they are safe.
Illicit drug manufacturers will use cheaper ingredients, even if those ingredients are dangerous. Or, more likely, they will add addictive ingredients to ensure a future clientele.
