Road Rage

Road rage can lead to assault and even murder. After watching a minor traffic incident escalate to violence on this YouTube video, I thought I'd share with you some tips to keep safe out there.

Here's the link to that YouTube video that sparked my worries. Road rage caught on video

I found this video and an accompanying article on the CBC News website.  Here's some tips posted there:

Tips for avoiding road rage

  • Avoid eye contact with aggressor.
  • Stay in your vehicle.
  • Leave space to drive away.
  • Don't confront anyone.
  • If you're followed, go to police. Never go home.
  • If someone is being threatening, call 911.
  • If you make a mistake, gesture to others to apologize.
